Feasts in Matthew 13
After Paul’s comments on the connection of the parable of the hidden treasure with the Book of Ruth, it would make sense if this parable was positioned at Trumpets. It seems to be.
Light (Ark/Sabbath) - Parable of the sower. The creative Word goes forth. Revelation 1.
Firmament (Veil/Passover) - The mystery is hidden to many but revealed to the disciples. Jesus explains the mystery. Revelation 2-3.
Land/Grain and Fruit (Altar & Table/Firstfruits) - The parables of the wheat and the tares, the mustard seed that becomes a great tree-house and the leaven (facebread). Jesus goes into the house (this is the Tabernacle step). Revelation 4-5.
Ruling Lights (Lampstand/Pentecost) - Jesus as incarnate Word explains the parable of the wheat and tares (Pentecost is harvest time). The righteous shine forth as the sun. Revelation’s Seals.
Swarms (Incense/Trumpets) - The parable of the hidden treasure (Ruth/Gentiles brought in to revive Israel). Revelation’s Trumpets.
Land Animals and Man (mediatorial Laver/Atonement) - The parable of the dragnet in the (Gentile) sea. The bad fish are thrown away (I guess Adam/High Priest is the net, here). This is AD70. Revelation’s Bowls.
Rest (Shekinah/Tabernacles) - Every scribe instructed concerning the kingdom is like a householder who brings out new and old treasure. Jesus is not received in His own hometown. [1] The New Jerusalem.

[1] I realise some of these symbols are a bit oblique, but the pattern’s occurrences through the Old Testament add a lot to each point as the Bible progresses. Tabernacles comes to include the four rivers, letters sent out with horsemen, and offspring beginning a new generation. The pattern begins with a single mediator (Adam) and ends with a corporate mediator (Eve).
