Covenant Creationism is a development of hyperpreterism. As hyperpreterism says that there is no future, physical consummation, so Covenant Creationism asserts that the Creation account in Genesis 1 is just God “naming” things that were already in existence and giving them Covenantal significance. So it is old earth, and in some cases I guess, theistic evolutionary.
