Bible Matrix offer

I’ve just finished the first draft of this new book. It’s basically a primer for Totus Christus, with a focus on the earlier chapters so you can really nail down the methodology. Part of me says it is too brief, but I am hoping that with its brightly-coloured cover and low wordcount, it might even appeal to Christians who would normally read books like How To Get God to Make You Rich, Why Progressive Polygamy is OK, Did My Cat Go To Heaven? and The Shack.

Anyhow, here’s the deal. To the first ten interested people to contact me (assuming there would be more than ten altogether), I will send a free copy (don’t forget to include your preferred postal address). Printing is still a month or two away.

If you are a reputable theologian, you might even like to write a foreword — I would accept even a critical one. So far the basic premise has had very polarised reactions, which is a good sign I guess. The book looks at one structural concept used throughout the Scriptures. In no way is it rangebound like one of those 70′s “concept” albums. It is a multi-purpose Bible key that even opens books such as Ezekiel and Zechariah like cans of sardines.

    As someone who has actually gotten a look at both Bible Matrix and Totus Christus before now, I’ll offer a brief comment. THe only thing that concerns me is the sheer brevity of the former–Bible matrix, even at 204 pages, is small. However, even for someone who has digested a lot of Totus CHristus it is valuable. It pairs down Totus CHristus to the most basic essentials, making the creation/dominion/feast pattern comprehensible without the sheer enormity of information packed into Totus Christus. (And for you unfortunates who haven’t read the book, it’s heavy theology like almost nothing else.) For me, much of Bible Matrix is redundant, but that’s only because I’ve read both Mike and James Jordan’s work before. For a CHristian coming into first contact with this, I think Bible Matrix could be a very important step.
